Robbie went straight from Oklahoma State's sports media program to Turner Sports in Atlanta.  He spent some time at the NFL before snagging a job at BuzzFeed, but then it was back to the NFL, running its Snapchat. He's now on the front lines of digital media engagement at Yahoo!. A Stillwater native, Robbie has lots of advice for students looking to break into the competitive world of sports and digital media.

Jim Luetkemeyer and his wife, Megan, decided to quit their jobs to spend a year on what they call their #1YearRetirement. They traveled to 33 countries and more than 120 cities and towns on six continents, living as non-traditional retirees. Before embarking on his adventure, this 1997 O’Colly editor-in-chief spent his time beyond Paul Miller in various communications roles, including ESOP Communications director and U.S. House of Representatives legislative assistant. Most recently, Luetkemeyer served as vice president, head of public affairs practice and as a senior partner at Widmeyer Communications in Washington, D.C., a Finn Partners Company.

Catherine Sweeney, fall 2014 O’Colly editor-in-chief, has spent her time post graduation at the Journal Record in Oklahoma City. She graduated in 2015, and then moved to Greeley, Colorado, to cover city and county government. She now covers the Capitol for the Journal Record. As a member of the press corps, Sweeney works in the Capitol during the legislative session. During the rest of the year, she writes about how the legislators’ work will affect agencies and the residents they serve. These days, Sweeney is focusing on how the budget is facing constitutional challenges and how the fallout will affect the most vulnerable Oklahomans.

Fall 2015 O’Colly editor-in-chief Kassie McClung has covered everything from high-profile trials to jail deaths to systemic issues in the healthcare system. She is a staff writer for the Frontier, a nonprofit, investigative news organization in Tulsa. Her stories often focus on health and criminal justice — occasionally at the same time. She works on long-term projects, rolling investigations and enterprise pieces. She frequently incorporates data and data visualization into her stories. Before being hired on as a staff writer, she interned at the Frontier, as well as at the South County Leader and The Oklahoman.
